RamBo is installed from the Microsoft Store, so it's signed and kept up to date by Windows. Licences are sold on this site; our reseller Lemon Squeezy handles the payment.
What it does
- Duplicate process trees: groups the many processes apps like browsers start, and can close the extra children while leaving the main one running.
- Problem processes: flags windows that aren't responding, zombie, suspended and orphaned processes.
- Trim RAM: asks Windows to page out memory that running apps aren't actively using. It doesn't fix apps that leak memory, and we won't pretend it does.
- Startup apps: lists what starts with Windows (registry run keys, scheduled tasks, Startup folders) and turns entries on or off.
- Live view: keeps the list current as things change.
Good to know
- Works offline. A licence checks in online at most once a day and keeps working for 60 days between checks.
- Moving PCs? Remove an old PC from Your apps or use "Deactivate this PC" in RamBo.
- Activating: enter your product code, or choose "Sign in" with your Sixth Day Studios account.
