Sixth Day Studios ("we") runs sixthdaystudios.com. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Enquiries. If you use the contact form: your name, email address and message.
- Accounts. If you register: your name, email address and either a password (stored only as a one-way, salted hash we can't read) or, if you sign in with Google or Microsoft, the account identifier they give us. We also record whether your account is approved and which apps you can access.
- Security data. Your IP address with enquiries, and counts of failed sign-in attempts, so we can stop spam and password-guessing.
- Cookies. One cookie keeps you signed in (it's removed when you sign out), and a short-lived one is used during Google/Microsoft sign-in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Visitor statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits without cookies and without identifying you.
How we use it
Only to answer your enquiry, run your account and decide what you can access, and keep the site secure. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the site and its database and delivers enquiry emails to us. Their servers may be outside Australia.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that forms are sent by a person, not a bot.
- Google and Microsoft, only if you choose to sign in with them; they tell us your name and email.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and accounts are kept until you ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them. Sign-in sessions expire after 30 days.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to close your account. Email hello@sixthdaystudios.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change too.
